This is an intensive one-day training course, combined with 6 hours of linked pre-course work, which is all designed to assist junior lawyers effect the transition from academic study of the subject to drafting their own documentation. There will be specific emphasis on a Commercial Lease, with delegates grappling with the day-to-day issues encountered in commercial freehold and leasehold transactions.
This course is designed for the aspiring Commercial Property practitioner – whether Trainee Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, recently Qualified Solicitor or lawyer seeking a change of direction. It assumes knowledge of the underlying law and provides total immersion in the progression of the Commercial Property transaction from instruction to its conclusion, with specific emphasis on commercial lease drafting skills and the identification of potential problem areas and pitfalls.
