Shân is a qualified solicitor and worked in Eversheds during her time in the profession. She holds a current practising certificate. Shân also holds a judicial appointment, being a part-time adjudicator in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal.
Shân has wide experience as a lecturer, having taught at the University of Glamorgan for over 20 years, on both undergraduate and professional courses – including being Legal Practice Course (LPC) Course Director.
Her areas of expertise are in Land/Property Law, Wills and Trusts. She is currently a part time tutor at Cardiff Law School, teaching on the LLB, LPC and Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) programmes.
Shân is also an external examiner for the University of Law and a critical reader for the Open University. She is currently Chief Examiner for the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) with responsibility for the Probate Practice and the Law of the Elderly Clientmodules.
