This one-day course will give delegates a good working understanding of the City and how it functions on a day-to-day basis. Delegates will learn about the different markets, the institutions, workers and financial instruments. They will also learn more about the role of lawyers in City transactions.
Given its nature, the course is largely instructive but delegates will be encouraged to contribute to the session from their own knowledge and experience. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.
This course is one of the elective modules of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority (SRA)’s Professional Skills Course (PSC) and is designed to be taken prior to admission as a Solicitor. The course is also relevant to recently qualified lawyers and paralegals seeking to develop their skills in this growing practice area.
