What’s new this Summer at BARBRI Altior?

It’s hard to believe we’re in July already. During lockdown, 2020 seems to be moving at an incredible pace and the team has been busy shifting and adapting to meet the needs of our clients during this challenging period. Not only has this seen us add a number of courses to our online offering, but behind the scenes, there have been some exciting developments and changes too. So, for our blog this week, we wanted to take the time to share an update with you to let you know what’s new at BARBRI Altior this summer.

Wales Legal Awards nomination

We’re proud to say that we’ve been shortlisted in the Wales Legal Awards Service Professionals Team of the Year category. We couldn’t be more thrilled and we’re up against some tough competition including Brewin Dolphin, Stokes Case management and Zest Recruitment and Legal Consultancy. Provided lockdown restrictions are eased, the awards will take place in Cardiff on September 11th so keep your fingers crossed for the team. You can read more about the awards here>>>

Office move

We may have started lockdown in Elgin House, St Mary Street, Cardiff, but over the last fortnight, the team has been busy with relocation duties. Once restrictions lift, we’ll be officially up and running from the iconic Park Place, Cardiff. As an area of the city that is famous for its law firms, this period property will be our home for the next five years. You can read more about it here>>>

Live Online courses

While many lockdown measures remain in place across the UK and individuals continue to shield, our full course offering, and the accompanying exams will continue to be available online – from the Professional Skills Course to Higher Rights of Audience and more. Our primary focus is keeping our delegates safe which is why we’ve made the decision not to return to our venues for a little while longer and we’re helping our clients to expand their digital offering too. From online in-house solutions to digitising the application scheme process for trainee intake, we’re helping our clients to find virtual solutions that meet their needs.  To find out more about our upcoming courses and book your place, or to find out more about our online services, speak to our team today>>>

New systems

Over the last few months, the team has been working behind the scenes to introduce new learning management and CRM systems to improve client services and the overall delegate experience. These systems are now fully implemented within our delegate services team but rest assured, these changes will not impact you or the booking process.

Twitter chat

This July, we’ll be hosting our very first Twitter chat over at @BARBRIAltior. The topic of conversation will be remote working in the legal industry, focusing on the challenges and opportunities that firms and legal professionals have faced in recent weeks in relation to COVID-19. We’re confident that this will be something of interest to many operating within the industry currently so we hope you’re able to join us on July 29th – we predict it will be an incredibly insightful session.

We have some exciting changes ahead and we’re waiting in eager anticipation for the Wales Legal Awards this September. So, to stay up to date with all of our latest news this summer and to join us for our inaugural Twitter chat this July, make sure you’re connected with us on our social channels.
