Managing Others builds on the people management skills learnt by a solicitor during the early years of qualification and takes these essential skills to the level expected of a high performing team manager.   This one-day course will not only help develop your skill set to become an effective one-to-one supervisor, but will also help foster your ability to deliver excellent client service and bottom line results through exceptional team management.

Managing Others is the second course in Kaplan Altior’s Unique 3 step Management Programme, which is specifically designed in three clear stages. This course builds upon the skills covered in Managing Yourself and extends your people management skills beyond the SRA Threshold Standard.  It is a dynamic, interactive and hands-on course, which explores vital concepts with ‘just enough’ theory to underpin effective practice.  

Audience

This course is specifically tailored to:

  • Qualified solicitors with 2-4 years PQE;

  • More junior solicitors who are given earlier responsibility for managing others; and

  • More experienced professionals who seek a refresher and update on their existing skill set and wish to comply with the SRA Statement of Solicitor Competence.
